This small set contains beautiful royal-style chess pieces made of hornbeam and sycamore wood. The foldable chess board has an inlay for figures inside. The difference between this set and the Royal Maxi is that the board is slightly bigger and has no algebraic notation on the sides.
Algebraic notation (or AN) is the standard method for recording and describing the moves in a game of chess. It is based on a system of coordinates to uniquely identify each square on the chessboard.

So far we are loving this chess board! We went on a family vacation and a family member had a different board and it brought back so many childhood memories of playing and beating everyone! Pünktliche Lieferung.
Brett und Figuren sind aus Holz gefertigt. Die Figuren haben eine Filzsohle und werden nach dem zusammenklappen im Inneren des Schachbretts aufbewahrt. Liegen aber nicht lose herum sondern jede Figur hat einen eigenen Platz. Verschlossen werden kann es dann mit zwei Scharnieren.
