The Gladiator chess set is one of the bestsellers from our range of the themed sets. The fully hand-crafted and slightly weighted, thanks to which the figures are stable and using them makes the playing time more pleasant.
The chess pieces are made from lime wood. The burned folding chess board is finished with a red felt lining inside. Inside the chess pieces are laid loosely in two compartments. The alphanumeric notation has been put on light borders of the chess board which will be a big help for kids who want to study the game.
The chessboard decorated by hand on the sides with carvings in wood. Dark elements are covered with a special brown stain. Each figure is a unique sculpture, depicting figures and architectural elements from the Roman Empire period. Dark figures are covered with a special brown stain.
Decorative metal clasps keep the board securely locked after play. This chess set is a very decorative set for display.

Het vakmanschap van dit schaakspel kwam bij lange na niet in de buurt van wat ik me had voorgesteld dat een houten schaakspel zou zijn, omdat het mijn verwachtingen te boven ging!
