The small Pearl chess set has lovely hand-crafted chess pieces made from beech wood in natural and brown colours. The folding chessboard has two compartments finished with felt lining for the chess pieces inside. Decorative metal clasps keep the board securely locked after play. It has a superb classic design in combination with unique patterns that will provide decades of great chess playing.
Hand-carved Pearl series chess pieces are crafted from beech wood exotics with sublime details. A very beautiful chess set combination that also represents very good value. Das Spiel ist durch und durch ordentlich verarbeitet und alles in allem sehr zufriedenstellend. Wer kein Museum bestücken, sondern mit seinem Sohn Schach spielen will, wird mit meinem Exemplar sehr zufrieden sein.

Not a bad set for the price. I would like to have the board a little bit more solid. All in all it’s a nice set that I will be giving to my son in law in a couple of months. I suppose if they did all of that to it then the price would not have been as low as it was. On the plus side the seller sent an email stating that if we lost any pieces to contact them and they would be happy to replace it so that was a nice benefit that I have never seen before from a merchant.
