The blue Ace set chess set is thanks to a classical design of the pieces, and this chess set is one of the most popular ones from decorative wooden chess sets. A slightly ornamented folding chessboard is burned outside, and it has two compartments finished with felt lining for the chess pieces inside.
Decorative metal clasps keep the board securely locked after play. The nicely crafted pieces are made from hornbeam wood.

If you are bored of watching TV, streaming movies, and want to do something different, this one’s for you.
I know we are going through a lot these days, but everything will be fine. Meanwhile we can have a blast from the past, learning, playing or teaching the kids to play chess. Chess is becoming a lost art, it seems like we don’t want to think for ourselves anymore.
It is beautifully handcrafted, the pieces also. I made a good decision buying the blue colour. I am learning how to play chess, and so far it has been a blessing. I highly recommend this chessboard. As a gift for anyone that you know that’s tired of staring at a screen..

Exactly as advertised.Arrived in perfect condition.The pieces are all good size and the board is very well constructed wood,yet light in weight.Hinges and interior holding straps for the pieces both work perfectly.While this is not a fancy set,it is great as a starter chess set or as a travel board.Overall,this is nice quality for the price = a great Value.The “blue” squares and pieces are actually a very nice.I definitely recommend this chess set.

Tolle Massive Figuren und ein schicker Klappbaren aus Holz. Dass das Produkt stark nach Lösemittelnriecht, wie einige anmerken, kann ich nicht bestätigen. Bei meinem Brett sind auch alle Zahlen und Buchstaben sorgfältig platziert. Das teils bemängelte Plastik-Innenleben ist zweckmäßig und für den Preis Ok – kostet ja keine 100€ das Spiel… Positiv: es wurde Plantagenholz verwendet; bei dem Preis nicht selbstverständlich. Alles in allem ein tolles Holz-schachspiel, wie ich es mir schon lange gewünscht habe.

Ein sehr schönes und gut verarbeitetes Schachspiel, kein Plastikmüll, besonders für Kinder, die mit dem Schach anfangen wollen zu empfehlen.
