This black Ambassador chess set is a very traditional chess set, a perfect combination of light weighted pieces which are made of hornbeam and sycamore wood. Its large playing field is the perfect set piece for exciting chess matches.

The pieces and the chess case are hand-crafted and they have many ornaments burned on the dark squares of the board. The board is made from beech and birch wood that gives it a classic, handmade feel that many chess enthusiasts will appreciate; number and letter algebraic coordinates adorn the borders; when folded, the board is held securely shut with 2 brass clasps.
