BLUE KING’S CHESS (LARGE)

This large blue King’s chess set is the largest (40 cm) from the range of our standard King’s sets, which is also one of the most popular sets. It has been equipped with an insert tray for the chess pieces. The pieces are made from hornbeam wood. Beech and birch wood boards are embellished through a traditional technique of burning patterns and designs in the wood.

Number and letter algebraic coordinates adorn the borders. Decorative metal clasps keep the board securely locked after play.

The simplest and most widely used form of chess notation is the algebraic notation. The edges of the chessboard are marked with letters and numbers.
