The Giewont chess set an unique design of the chess pieces made from lime wood. Giewont(mountain in Poland) is one of the most unique themed chess sets in our themed selection.
The folding chessboard is made of wood mainly of beech, on the side of the board there is metal latch in gold colour. Each chessboard grid is hand-painted in natural colours and burned on wood. In the middle of the half-folded board there is a liner covered with a green velour coating to store figures. The chessboard is covered with burned ornaments on all sides. Carved, varnished with gloss figures are made of solid wood (lime). Figures are glued on the bottom with a green felt.
