The Roman chess set is one of the bestselling larger sets from our decorative range. The pieces are fully hand-crafted and made from beech wood. The burned folding chess board has two compartments finished with felt lining for the chess pieces storage inside. The folding chess board has no insert tray for the chess pieces storage inside. Decorative metal clasps keep the board securely locked after play.

I loved the chess board and so did my hubby when he opened it on Birthday morning! Speedy delivery, too! Despite being well wrapped for shipping, unfortunately a part of the chess board was broken upon delivery. We’ve decided it adds character. 🙂 But other than that we can’t complain! Love it! Highly recommend. 🙂

This is a perfect chess board for our purposes. I bought it for my husband as an early Christmas gift. It important to me that it’s easy to store and able to bring with us in our camper van for travel, though I think travel via air would be hard due to size. It seems well handmade, and we really enjoy it.

Also das Schachbrett ist spitze, gut verarbeitet! Man bekommt hier für unter 100€ ein echt hochwertiges Schachspiel!
ich habe es letztes Jahr meinem Großvater als Weihnachtsgeschenk gekauft, und war SEHR überrascht als ich es nach der Lieferung ausgepackt hatte….denn die Qualität ist spitze und ähnelt eher einem Teurem “Profi” Schachspiel.
