This Indy chess set is the smallest version of the Indy chess sets. The pieces of a unique design are fully hand-crafted and made from cherry tree wood. The folding chessboard has two compartments finished with felt lining for the chess pieces inside.
Decorative metal clasps keep the board securely locked after play. It has a superb classic design in combination with unique patterns that will provide decades of great chess playing.
Beech and birch wood boards are embellished through a traditional technique of burning patterns and designs in the wood.

Very nicely made, inexpensive chess set. great for traveling (not in use while traveling but taking places)it is about the size when closed.The box that holds the pieces ensures i don’t lose them either. the pieces are very easily distinguishable as to what they are.

Die letzten Schachbretter auf denen ich gespielt habe waren alle entweder aus Kunststoff oder aus (einer Art) Holz mit ganz viel Lack- und die Figuren waren entweder aus Kunststoff- oder wieder aus Holz mit ganz viel Lack- und als ich dann dieses Brett ausgepackt hab war ich hin und weg!
